of China (ESC), the State Key Laboratory for Emerging Pathogens, and the Asian
Society of Vector Ecology and Mosquito Control (ASVEMC).

You are invited and welcome to join the 9th IFSCMVD, Xi’An, China, May 25-30. Xi’An is a large city and capital of Shaanxi Province in central China and a top city for tourists. The Terra Cotta Army (thousands of life-size, hand-molded figures buried with China’s first emperor, Qin Shi Huang is the most popular attraction for sightseeing.

If you would like to give a presentation at the meeting, please submit the title of your
presentation with the presenter’s name, coauthor’s name if you have one, organization, physical address, and your e-mail address, less than 200-word abstract for the program agenda use to Dr. Li at [email protected] and Dr. Xue at [email protected]

If you need an official invitation letter, please let Dr. Xue & Dr. Li know.

The paper submission and presentation require ENGLISH only. During the meeting, if you need there will be meeting staff and students to help with translation.

Registration Information

Registration will mostly be conducted on-site. The registration fee is $400 per participant.
Please register early (deadline is April 30, 2025) and pay later. Without pre-registering
information, the registration fee will be $500 on-site. Cash in US Dollars and credit cards will be accepted at the hotel registration desk. The registration fee will cover three meals per day for 3 days per person. Please contact Mrs. Mingyu Wu at [email protected] and Dr. C.X. Li at [email protected] and let them know you would like to get pre-registration.

Hotel Information

The conference makes the hotel as a whole group at the discount rate ($100/night) and staff will arrange the hotel room for you when you check-in. Please let Mrs. Mingyu Wu at
[email protected] know your check-in and check-out dates, number of people, number of rooms, and number of beds you need. You will pay to the hotel by credit card or cashes on site.

Transportation from the Xi’An Airport to the Hotel

For foreign participants only, please let the meeting staff know your arrival and deport schedule of your flight at the Xi’An International Airport. After you purchase your flight tickets, please send a copy of your flight schedule to Mrs. Mingyu Wu at [email protected] The meeting staff will go to the airport to pick you up while holding your name outside the luggage claim. Also, there are several other local transportation from the airport or train station to the meeting hotel (announce the hotel later).

Local Tour Information

There is a local tour agency available in the Hotel. You may visit and check with the agency and if you need the meeting staff and students may help you and provide translation. Also, you may book your tour online and usually the tour agent will pick you up from the hotel.
