Dr. Theeraphap Chareonviriyaphap, Professor from Kasetsart University
Bangkok, Thailand, has involved the Asian Society of Vector Ecology and Mosquito Control (ASVEMC) and joined the collaboration committee for the preparation and establishment of the ASVEMC since 2011, became the regional director since 2013, and joined the membership meeting every time. He has been nominated as the Vice President of the ASVEMC by the nominated committee and executive committee. He also received the Achievement award from the ASVEMC in 2019. If you have any questions, please let me know.

In the meantime Dr. Ngoenkan from Thailand has been nominated and recommended to the regional director to replace Dr. Theeraphap.

The 5th ASVEMC membership meeting will be held in Beijing (before the 8th IFSCMVD), October 23-27. Dr. Alex Chaskopoulou, President of the SOVE will join the meeting and install the new officers of the ASVEMC. Also, Dr. Major Dilon, Executive Director (Retired), SOVE plans to join the meeting.

Current President Dr. Hong-Liang Chu will replace me as the Executive Director for the ASVEMC.
